The Green House, which was completed in December 2012, is the greenest real estate development project in the Hungarian office market and the first office building in Budapest to qualify for the platinum level of the LEED certification system. Tenants of the green building can enjoy the combined benefits of a commitment to sustainable development, creativity, and work and cost efficiency.
The building was designed by the Hungarian DPI Design Kft. and the Swedish White Arkitekter AB architectural firm. The goal of the specialists was to create ideal, human-scale spaces for working, while also placing special emphasis on protecting the micro- and macro environment. The developer Skanska used the most modern environmental solutions and green technologies in all development phases of the project in order to minimize the ecological footprint of the building. Thanks to this, the building's energy consumption and CO2 emissions show significant savings compared to average buildings. The office building also has a roof terrace, a beautiful interior garden, a multi-storey underground garage and a bicycle storage room.
